Moot Court Competition

A Moot Court Competition organized at the Kampala High Court took place in - Courtroom No. 1 on April 21, 2016.

\r\n\r\n

At\r\nleast 50 Makerere ‎University Law students appeared before a panel\r\nof the following five High Court Judges: Hon. Justice Masalu Musene, Hon. Lady Justice Lydia Mugambe, Hon. Lady Justice Elizabeth Kabanda, Hon. Lady Justice Elizabeth Nahamya and Hon. Lady Justice Elizabeth Alividza. 

\r\n\r\n

The\r\nHon. Principal Judge, Yorokamu Bamwine, officiated at the session, and a\r\nnumber of law professors were also in attendance as the students made submissions before the  Hon, Judges. 

\r\n\r\nThe Moot Court ‎Competition is intended to give\r\nthe students hands-on experience in Trial Advocacy Skills.
